When you interview for sales jobs in New York City, it's absolutely imperative that you do your homework - know the company you are interviewing with, inside and out. Find out what exactly they sell, how they sell, and who they sell to. Check out all of the company's social media platforms to get the feel of their company culture and the way they do business. And don't forget to research the person you are interviewing with - social media is also a great way to do this. Check out their LinkedIn profile to see what their sales background is and check Facebook and/or Instagram to see what they are like outside of work. Walk into your interview armed with this information and you will have great topics of conversation which will impress them and allow you to build a bond with them.
