We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our growing crew and help our customers find the exact equipment they need.

The Role

As a Trailer Sales Representative, you will be the face of Alpha Specialties, working directly with customers to match them with the right trailers, parts, and custom solutions. Whether a customer is hauling heavy equipment or looking for a reliable utility setup, you will guide them through our inventory, explain technical specifications, and close deals with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Warmly greet walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, and respond to internet leads promptly.
• Needs Assessment: Listen to customer requirements to recommend the best trailer, utility vehicle, or specific parts for their application.
• Product Expertise: Maintain a thorough, up-to-date understanding of our trailer inventory, towing capacities, and service capabilities.
• Sales Process Management: Negotiate pricing, walk customers through financing options (if applicable), and ensure all sales paperwork is completed accurately.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with our service and fabrication departments to ensure custom builds or accessory installations are executed flawlessly.
• Lot Management: Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales lot and showroom.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales (automotive, heavy equipment, powersports, or trailer sales is highly preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build immediate rapport.
• A self-starter mentality with a strong sense of accountability and a drive to hit growth targets.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with towing, trailers, and utility vehicles is a major plus.
• Basic computer skills for managing leads and inventory systems.

The Salesperson is responsible for selling Alpha Trailer & Truck Specialties products to new and existing customers. The Salesperson will interact with customers to gather information about their needs, answer their questions, and recommend the right product. The goal is to increase your sales and earn bonus payments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a sales strategy by researching company products, writing a compelling sales-driven story about the companys products and the companys history, and presenting it to the customer.
• Achieve customer sales targets.
• Attend ongoing training in our proven sales process, in our proven products, and in our core values.
• Be the subject of the customers day-to-day interaction, with the goal of creating meaningful relationships that are built on trust and value.
• Sell to all customers in all channels, no matter their final destination.
• Build relationships with customers, create meaningful experiences that build your sale pipeline and your customer lifetime value.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work with a team that is committed to your success.

Skills:

• Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision, and committed to success.
• Experience working in a sales environment selling to one or more customers at one location.
