Job Title: Restoration Estimator / Sales Representative Company: Absolute Clean and Restoration Location: Southern Illinois (service area-based) Employment Type: Full-Time About Absolute Clean and Restoration Absolute Clean and Restoration is a locally owned and operated restoration company providing water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire and smoke cleanup , and emergency services. We are known for fast response, honest communication, and high-quality workmanship. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated Estimator / Sales Representative to join our team.

Job Summary

The Estimator / Sales Representative is responsible for inspecting loss sites, writing accurate estimates, working with insurance carriers and adjusters, and closing jobs. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently explain the restoration process to homeowners, property managers, and insurance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, mold, and fire loss calls to inspect residential and commercial properties
• Scope losses accurately and write estimates using industry-standard software (Xactimate)
• Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters throughout the job
• Explain the restoration process, timelines, and coverage in a clear and professional manner
• Write Estimates for the Rebuild of the projects.
• Secure signed work authorizations and move jobs from estimate to production
• Work closely with technicians and project managers to ensure proper job execution
• Track job progress and follow up on approvals, supplements, and payments
• Identify upsell opportunities where appropriate (mold testing, rebuild, additional services)
• Maintain accurate documentation, photos, and job notes
• Represent Absolute Clean and Restoration professionally at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restoration estimating, insurance claims, or construction sales preferred
• Proficiency with Xactimate strongly preferred (training available for the right candidate)
• Knowledge of water, mold, and fire restoration processes
• Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and estimating software

Requirements

Construction Management degree or minimum of 5 years experience in the Restoration industry or construction industry.
