Solutions Engineer Snapshot: $125K$155K base $180K$220K OTE + equity San Francisco Hybrid No visa sponsorship 37 yrs customer-facing technical roles THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is a seed-stage AI company (~20 people, founded 2025) building a document-intelligence platform that combines intelligent schema mapping with fine-tuned extraction models. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll bridge the platform and the enterprise customers who depend on it owning technical discovery, demos, deployments, and troubleshooting. WHAT YOU'LL DO Partner with AEs across sales cycles, owning technical discovery, demos, and evaluations. Deploy and configure extraction pipelines in customer environments for pilots and production. Diagnose and resolve accuracy, latency, and infrastructure issues across distributed systems. Build Python- based internal tools and customer integrations. Collaborate with ML, platform, and product teams on customer feedback. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE First 90 days: ramp on the platform and own technical evaluations alongside AEs. First year: run successful pilots-to-production deployments and establish repeatable SE practices. MUST-HAVES 37 years in customer-facing technical roles (Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or similar); 34+ years in pre-sales SE at technical B2B companies; hands-on with APIs, distributed systems, and production infrastructure; Python proficiency; sales-methodology familiarity (MEDDIC, Command of the Message). Must be customer-facing. NICE-TO-HAVES Kubernetes experience; ML/AI or data-infrastructure background. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $125K$155K base (USD), $180K$220K OTE, competitive equity.
