Responsibilities

This position is responsible for sales activities for restaurant, central kitchen, and institutional accounts in the Western region (including Hawaii and Western Canada). The role focuses on maintaining relationships with existing customers while developing new business, driving sales growth, managing budgets, forecasting demand, and conducting market analysis. Main

Responsibilities

:

• Direct sales activities to restaurants and chefs, including new business development and account management
• Trade show participation, customer visits, and business travel sales activities
• Sales forecasting, budget planning, and sales strategy development
• Quotation preparation, pricing proposals, and price adjustments
• Providing samples and handling various customer requests
• Expanding sales channels through collaboration with distributors
• Managing accounts receivable and supporting collection activities
• Coordinating internal inventory and warehouse transfers
• Reporting market information and customer trends
• Cross-functional collaboration within the company
• Coordination with operations, finance, marketing, and brokers
• Lead tracking and sample request management
• Collecting data for new product registration and presentation materials
• Managing and sharing sales documents and reports
• Providing sales data and support to other sales teams

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in the food industry in the U.S. and Canada
• Experience in sales data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
• Ability to collect, analyze, and report market trends
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel (approx. 50% travel required)
• Ability to independently manage schedules and achieve targets
• Knowledge/experience in inventory management
• PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to relocate or accept future internal transfers
• Business-level Japanese preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per hour
