Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician with a strong sales acumen to join our team. Duties

• Engage with customers to assess their HVAC needs through detailed consultations and site evaluations
• Design customized HVAC systems utilizing schematics, HVAC design principles, and technical specifications
• Promote and sell HVAC products and services, including air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, and property maintenance solutions
• Conduct field service activities such as equipment repair, appliance repair, boiler maintenance, and welding as needed
• Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings to ensure proper system installation and troubleshooting
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including refrigerant systems like ammonia refrigeration and HVAC/R units
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and ensure compliance with safety standards during all service activities
• Assist with the installation of complex systems involving refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, or boiler operations while adhering to industry regulations
• Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, system designs, and customer interactions for ongoing support and follow-up
• Drive company vehicle safely to client sites while maintaining a professional appearance and punctuality

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction, service technician roles or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC systems
• Strong mechanical knowledge including refrigeration, plumbing, boiler operation, and appliance repair
• Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and technical drawings for system installation or troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with field service tasks such as equipment repair, welding, maintenance work or mechanic experience
• Ability to interpret electrical measurements using tools like ohmmeters for diagnostics
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R technology is highly desirable
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills to effectively promote products and explain technical information to clients
