significantOverview Expert Vending Services (EVS) is seeking a reliable and energetic Vending Route Distributor to join our team. You will be responsible for driving a company vehicle along an established route to deliver products, fill machines, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and functionality at client locations. As the face of our company, you will also build value-added relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction with both our products and service level.

Duties

• Restocking: Load and replenish snack and beverage vending machines at various customer locations to established par levels.
• Inventory Rotation: Practice First In, First Out (FIFO) to ensure all products are fresh and remove expired items.
• Cleaning & Maintenance:
• Perform routine cleaning (inside and out) of vending machines and micro-markets.
• Basic Technical Repairs: Troubleshoot minor issues such as coin jams, product jams or bill validator issues.
• Cash Handling & Reporting: Collect cash from machines, secure funds, and record inventory and sales data.
• Customer Service: Establish a friendly rapport with site contact persons, listen to product requests, and support resolving service complaints.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe company vehicle.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain a 'safety-first' approach in all daily tasks, including warehouse operations, driving, and on-site customer machine maintenance. Skills
• General customer service experience. Previous delivery and route driving experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work unsupervised for a signifcant portion of the workday.
• Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license; familiarity with DOT regulations is essential.
• Proficiency in math for accurate inventory management, sales calculations, and route planning.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely following proper lifting practices; physically fit for daily manual tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions and team coordination.
• Skilled in organization and route driving to ensure timely deliveries and optimal coverage.
• Background in military service or experience with disciplined routines enhances reliability and safety awareness.
