Do you love mountain travel, skiing, adventure, and/or creating unforgettable experiences? Alpinr Mountain Travel is a 50+ year old company based in Baton Rouge specializing in ski vacations, adventure travel, and group trips around the world. We're looking for an organized, proactive, relationship-focused professional to help drive our continued growth. You'll work directly with leadership, learning our operations, sales, vendor relationships, and trip management becoming a trusted resource for clients and suppliers alike, from first inquiry to trip completion. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Relationship Management
- Respond to trip inquiries, prepare proposals and quotations, and guide clients through the sales process to close
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, group leaders, ski clubs, and industry partners
- Support business development efforts to continue to expand sales Trip Operations
- Coordinate trip reservations lodging, flights, transfers, lift tickets, activities, and travel insurance and ensure accuracy across all components
- Collect payments, reconcile invoices, and maintain accurate booking records
- Manage supplier communications and contract administration
- Create and distribute client travel documents, and support trip leaders and clients before, during, and after travel Business Operations & Marketing
- Learn and become proficient in our core business systems, processes, and reporting tools
- Assist with website updates, social media, email marketing, and client communications
- Contribute to planning initiatives and operational improvements Destination & Industry Knowledge
- Build expertise in ski destinations, mountain resorts, and supplier partners
- Stay current on industry trends, airline policies, and travel regulations
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Customer-focused and sales-minded, with confidence building relationships with clients and suppliers
- Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset who stays calm under pressure
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM systems, email marketing, or social media a plus
- Personal ski, mountain travel, or adventure travel experience preferred
- Travel industry experience preferred but not required Schedule: Full-time, hourly, MondayFriday, with occasional evenings/weekends during peak season; some travel required
