• Listing Agent & Supervisor of a small team for Vehicles at Auction Location: Irvine, CA

Compensation

: $60,000 - $72,000 + Performance Bonus Type: Full-Time | Fast-Growth Startup Lead the Team That Brings Vehicles to Market We're looking for an experienced automotive professional who understands vehicle appraisals, can accurately assess reconditioning needs, and has the leadership skills to oversee our vehicle listing operation. Sales experience is also strongly desired. As the Listing Agent & Supervisor, you'll be responsible for evaluating vehicles, determining auction viability, negotiating listing reserves when necessary, and supervising a small team of Vehicle Listing Specialists to ensure consistency, quality, and productivity. This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll spend your day making appraisal decisions, coaching your team member, improving listing quality, and helping maximize vehicle sell-through. What You'll Do

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Perform accurate vehicle appraisals using market data, condition, history, and comparable sales.
• Evaluate vehicle reconditioning needs and determine how repairs impact auction value and buyer demand.
• Decide whether vehicles meet Bidbus listing standards
• Create compelling, accurate vehicle listings that maximize dealer engagement and auction performance.
• Supervise aa small team of Vehicle Listing Specialists, ensuring quality, consistency, and productivity.
• Review listings for accuracy, completeness, and pricing before they go live
• Provide ongoing feedback and training to improve appraisal consistency and listing quality
• Monitor listing metrics and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and operational efficiency
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain detailed CRM notes and vehicle documentation.
• Help develop and refine appraisal guidelines, listing standards, and internal processes as Bidbus continues to scale. What We're Looking For
• Prior experience appraising vehicles in a dealership, wholesale, auction, or automotive buying environment
• Strong understanding of vehicle condition grading, market values, and depreciation.
• Experience identifying vehicle reconditioning (recon) needs and estimating their impact on resale value.
• Understanding of vehicle paperwork such as Titles, Loans, Leases, Registrations etc.
• Excellent judgment when determining vehicle desirability and auction readiness
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with CRMs and automotive valuation tools
• Ability to prioritize multiple vehicles and deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment
• Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability
• Passion for the automotive industry and continuous improvement Preferred Experience
