About the Role

As an Agent in Training, you will learn the ins and outs of the insurance business from an experienced team. This hands-on role prepares you for a successful insurance career with tailored coaching, mentorship, and real-world experience. Your primary focus will be building new business, supporting client needs, and contributing to our supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn to generate new business through prospecting, outreach, and converting leads into new policies
• Participate in client consultations to identify and assess insurance needs, recommending personalized coverage solutions
• Assist in selling and cross-selling Farmers insurance productsincluding Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial lines
• Build strong relationships with clients through outstanding service and regular policy reviews
• Work toward meeting individual and team sales targets to drive agency growth
• Stay current on insurance products and maintain professional standards
• Use CRM tools to accurately manage leads, follow-ups, and renewals
• Engage actively in team meetings and planning sessions

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident making outbound calls and closing sales
• Eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and grow professionally
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• California Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Bilingual Spanish speaking required What We Offer
