Department : Sales Reports to : Sales Manager SUMMARY The Sales Associate is responsible for the management of all customer account relationships in the assigned region. The Sales Associate should have comprehensive knowledge in all areas of production, logistics and administration. The Sales Associate will be expected to work with sales team and other departments to ensure success of Sales and Marketing initiatives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee work done with other departments to develop, implement and execute sales plans Reviewing Sales research and data analysis and present findings of sales performance tracking Maintain an understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service Provide advanced negotiation expertise Project and forecast annual and quarterly revenue for the region Develop sales strategies to acquire new customers Track sales metrics and present them to company leadership Analyze sales data and develop plans to address performance gaps Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of related work experience, direct or inside sales experience Willingness to travel for trade shows and customer's satellite locations Must have excellent spelling, vocabulary, math and grammar skills; competent in business etiquette and writing Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint High achieving, ambitious, and results-oriented Decisive and comfortable making decisions quickly Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Professional, tactful, and courteous attitude in person and through voice and digital communications Ability to get along with diverse personalities; mature-minded and a team player Flexible and quick learner; easily able to adapt to new systems and structure Ability to provide and maintain reliable records and able to perform tasks efficiently and accurately Results, service, and people oriented with a diligent work ethic MUST LOVE RAMEN NOODLES!!! bilingual (Japanese, Korean) a plus
