Solar Sales Consultant (1099) Southern California (Orange County & Inland Empire) Commission-Only | Hands-On Training | Expansion Opportunity

Job Description

Current Energy is a fast-growing solar organization focused on helping homeowners transition to clean, affordable energy. As we expand across Southern California, we are hiring highly motivated Independent Solar Sales Consultants (1099) to join our residential sales team. This is a performance-based role best suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. We offer some of the highest commissions in the industry, supported by a tight-knit leadership team and daily access to sales mentorship and training. Whether you're an experienced closer or new to solar sales, you'll have the tools, support, and earning potential to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through door-to-door outreach, referrals, and local networking
• Educate homeowners on the financial and environmental benefits of going solar
• Present proposals and guide customers through the consultation and sales process
• Maintain communication with customers and internal teams throughout the sales cycle
• Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay sharp and aligned

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a willingness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Sales experience is preferred but not required (door-to-door, solar, roofing, alarms, etc.)
• Must have reliable transportation and a smartphone
