Overview

Join our dynamic hardware store team as a Sales Person / Clerk, where your enthusiasm and trade experience will help customers find the right tools, materials, and solutions for their projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with a wide range of products, assist customers with their needs, and contribute to a vibrant retail environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products suited to their project needs.
• Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise, and ensure the store remains clean and inviting
• Assist with stock replenishment and product labeling
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or coordinating deliveries
• Propane Filling
• Customer loading, must be able to lift 50lb
• Product assembly Experience
• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in hardware stores or grocery environments, not required.
• Some trade experience or relevant schooling in plumbing, construction, carpentry, or related fields highly desirable
• Ability to provide excellent customer service through active listening and problem-solving skills Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
