Trailblazer Mortgage, LLC, a mortgage joint venture between Acrisure Mortgage and Ashton Woods/Starlight Homes, is looking for ambitious, motivated individuals to join our September 2026 Mortgage Loan Originator Sales Academy. If you're eager to build a career in sales, finance, real estate, or customer relationships, this program provides the training, mentorship, and hands-on experience needed to become a successful Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO). About the Program Our Sales Academy Training Program is designed for motivated individuals seeking a long-term career in mortgage lending. As a trainee, you will begin in a sales support role as a Team MLO, where you will learn the fundamentals of mortgage origination while supporting experienced Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs). Over time, you will gain the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to transition into a full-fledged Mortgage Loan Originator role.

What You'll Do

• Develop a Strong Foundation: Participate in a structured training program, including an intensive 8-10 week virtual training course and ongoing mentorship.
• Gain Hands-on Experience: Work closely with top-performing MLOs to learn the ins and outs of the mortgage industry.
• Start in a Support Role: Assist experienced MLOs with loan structuring, client interactions, and administrative tasks as a Team MLO. What We Offer

Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with builders, realtors, and other referral sources to generate mortgage business.
• Guiding borrowers through the mortgage process, educating them on loan options, terms, and qualifications.
• Ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and company policies.
• Communicating effectively with clients and partners to ensure a seamless lending experience.

Requirements

• Must reside within the Nashville, TN metropolitan area
• Must be graduating by September 2026 or have recently graduated.
• Ability to obtain a Mortgage Loan Originator license (NMLS)
• Associate of Arts degree or Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred
• Sales experience not required, but helpful
