We're known for delivering an exceptional customer experience from the first consultation to long after the sale. We're currently seeking a detail-driven, customer-focused Account Manager to join our inside sales team. This is a full-time, in-person role based at our McKinney headquarters; applicants must be able to reliably commute to the office.

What You'll Do

As an Account Manager, you will be the trusted advisor for our customers, guiding them through product options, solution design, and order fulfillment with unmatched accuracy and care. Primary

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers via phone and email to assess technical needs and recommend tailored solutions.
• Research product options through our website and vendor portals; help customers navigate these resources when necessary.
• Interpret technical vendor literature and identify non-standard solutions that best fit customer requirements, even if not listed online.
• Liaise with vendors to verify pricing, availability, and product specifications.
• Generate accurate, timely quotations and sales orders.
• Assist business development reps with quoting and order management support as needed.
• Validate purchase orders, process credit card transactions, and coordinate order handoff to customer service.
• Provide shipping estimates using web-based transportation management tools.
• Log all follow-ups and maintain real-time status updates in our CRM to ensure pipeline accuracy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, warehouse, and accounting teams to resolve issues and support customers.
• Respond swiftly and thoughtfully to all customer inquiries, maintaining professionalism in every interaction. Your Skills & Strengths Hard Skills
• Excellent understanding of sales workflows, including quoting, processing, and support protocols.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Teams), CRMs, order/payment systems, and online research tools.
• Impeccable written communication with attention to grammar, formatting, and tone.
• Confident with basic math, including cost/margin calculations using digital tools.
• Familiarity with IT hardware and data center infrastructure is highly preferred. Soft Skills
