Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about features and benefits to encourage purchases
• Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and process cash handling with precision
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store displays are attractive and well-maintained
• Conduct upselling by recommending complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone
• Support merchandising efforts by organizing products according to planograms and store standards
• Manage stock levels, perform inventory counts, and assist with stock replenishment to ensure product availability

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery or specialty stores
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
• Knowledge of grocery store operations, product knowledge, and merchandising techniques preferred
• Ability to handle cash drawer handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations efficiently
