Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Car Sales Consultant to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for automobiles and a strong sales acumen. As a Car Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the car-buying process. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships will be key to driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. No Sundays or late nights!

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
• Conduct outside sales activities to generate leads and expand the customer base.
• Manage inventory control by keeping track of available vehicles and ensuring accurate information is provided to customers.
• Utilize effective phone etiquette to follow up with potential leads and maintain communication with existing customers.
• Demonstrate vehicles to customers, highlighting features and benefits while addressing any questions or concerns.
• Employ upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer experience.
• Collaborate with the dealership team to ensure a seamless sales process from initial contact through delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of current automotive trends, inventory, and financing options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive sales or a similar role within a dealership environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Experience in outside sales is an advantage.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
• A strong understanding of sales techniques and customer relationship management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability and desire to learn and take direction.
