Requirements

Active Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License. Previous experience working in an independent insurance agency. Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems. High attention to detail when documenting client accounts and policy changes. Ability to manage your own schedule and prioritize incoming tasks effectively. Experience with comparative rating software is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough reviews of client coverage to ensure their families and assets are properly protected. Prepare and present insurance proposals that clearly explain coverage options to prospective clients. Manage renewal processes by proactively checking in with current policyholders to adjust their coverage as life changes. Answer client inquiries regarding their policies and resolve any billing or coverage questions with care. Build and maintain meaningful connections with members of the Arlington community through local networking. Collaborate with the underwriting team to place complex risks and secure the best possible rates for your clients.
