Commercial HVAC Sales Representative Company: Florida Mechanical Services About Florida Mechanical Services Florida Mechanical Services is a leading provider of commercial HVAC installation, retrofit, and maintenance solutions serving businesses throughout Central Florida. We're growing our sales team and looking for a driven commercial HVAC sales representative to expand our footprint across the Orlando market.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and develop new commercial accounts throughout Orlando and Central Florida through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events
• Manage and grow an existing book of commercial clients, ensuring high retention and repeat business
• Conduct on-site assessments of commercial HVAC systems to evaluate replacement, retrofit, and upgrade opportunities
• Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and bids for commercial HVAC installation, replacement, and maintenance projects
• Present system options, energy efficiency benefits, and ROI analysis to facility managers, building owners, and business owners
• Collaborate with design/engineering and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and deliverable
• Negotiate contract terms and close sales in line with company margin and profitability targets
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activity in CRM software
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, engineers, and property management companies in the Orlando area
• Stay current on HVAC industry trends, Florida energy codes, equipment technology, and competitor offerings
• Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets
• Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and association meetings to generate leads

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC sales, mechanical contracting sales, or related B2B technical sales
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers, VRF, air handlers, controls, etc.)
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications (preferred)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
• Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered) Preferred Skills
• Existing network of commercial property managers, GCs, or engineering contacts in the Orlando/Central Florida market
• Experience selling maintenance service agreements (PMAs)
• Familiarity with Florida building codes, energy efficiency programs, and utility rebates
• NATE certification or HVAC technical background is a plus
