Job Description

: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent for our multifamily property. The Leasing Agent plays a crucial role in attracting and retaining residents by effectively marketing and leasing available units, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the property and its amenities. This position requires a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

:

• Tenant Relations: Provide outstanding customer service to prospective tenants, answer inquiries, and schedule property viewings.
• Property Marketing : Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract potential tenants, including creating eye-catching property listings and advertising vacancies.
• Lease Negotiation : Assist in lease negotiations, explain lease terms to tenants, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Property Showings : Conduct property tours, highlighting the features and benefits of each unit, and addressing tenant questions and concerns.
• Tenant Screening : Perform background checks and credit checks on prospective tenants to ensure they meet our rental criteria.
• Lease Administration : Prepare and execute lease agreements, collect security deposits and rent payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure prompt resolution of tenant maintenance requests.
• Market Research : Stay informed about local market trends and competition to recommend competitive rental rates and leasing strategies.

Qualifications

:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in using leasing management software and computer systems.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws, leasing procedures, and property management practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and self-motivated attitude. REQUIREMENTS:
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by leasing demands.
