[ Position ]

• Sales & Customer Service Representative (Sales Engineer) [ Summary ]
• A prominent Tier II automotive and residential A/C parts manufacturer is seeking a Sales & Customer Service Representative with a strong technical background. This role acts as a hybrid Sales Engineer/Account Manager. While maintaining established relationships (80% automotive, 20% residential A/C), you will handle complex technical configuration changes driven by the market shift to Hybrid and EV technologies. You will bridge communication between local clients and manufacturing plants in Japan and Mexico to adjust product specifications, while managing the APQP (Advanced PRoduct Quality Planning/ PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) quality frameworks. [

Essential Duties

]

• Act as the primary sales communication window and account manager for existing clients.
• Collaborate with clients on technical configuration and specification changes (especially for Hybrid/EV shifts), coordinating production with plants in Japan and Mexico.
• Understand and track APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) phases and compile/submit Level 3 PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) packages via customer portals.
• Prepare quotations, manage commercial price negotiations, process RFQs, and track accounts receivables.
• Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office to manage sales plans, data tracking, and forecasting.
• Conduct market research and attend occasional trade shows to identify new market expansion opportunities.
• Work closely with internal Quality, Engineering, and Accounting teams to resolve customer complaints or delivery issues. [ Working Hours / Working style ]
• 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (Monday Friday)
• Exempt position
• 100% On-site (No remote work)
• No overtime / No weekend work [ Working Location ] Dallas, Texas (company is planning to relocate to Irving area this coming October) [ Salary / Benefit ]
• $70K - $80K (Fixed base salary; no commission/bonus)

Qualifications

]

• 410 years of experience in automotive parts manufacturing sales, material control, or purchasing.
• Technical background/expertise (Mechanical Engineering degree or background is highly preferred to handle spec changes).
• Prior experience or foundational knowledge of APQP, PPAP (Level 3), and Quality Assurance processes is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in SAP system and advanced Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, diplomatic negotiation, and analytical skills. Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
