Job Summary

Outside Sales Representative Skyblack Rentals is a leading provider of equipment rentals for contractors in the Houston area. We offer a wide range of equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, skid steers, light towers, and more. We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our fast-growing team and drive new business within the Houston area. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and a passion for growth, sales, and customer service. Candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

Sales Development: Identify, build, and nurture relationships with new and existing clients in the construction and industrial sectors within the assigned territory Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive outreach, cold calls, and in-person meetings Client Relationship Management: Provide ongoing support and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction Jobsite and Office Visits: Consistently meet sales visit quotas. Conduct on- site visits to proactively assess future customer needs, provide solutions, and ensure a high level of service Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Meetings: Attend two (2) sales meetings per week and one (1) safety meeting per month at the branch Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive products to support strategic planning

Qualifications

& Experience Sales Experience: Outside Sales experience is a plus; candidates with two (2) years of experience and/or exposure to construction or heavy equipment are highly valued but not required. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build long-term customer relationships Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and achieve sales goals without constant supervision Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle; willingness to travel throughout the Houston area Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base Job Type: Full-time Pay: $82,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Application Question(s):
