Duties

• Actively engage in outside sales efforts by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, community events, and networking to generate new business opportunities
• Conduct thorough needs analysis with clients to recommend suitable P&C; (Property & Casualty) and life insurance products that meet their individual circumstances
• Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients, ensuring clarity and satisfaction while adhering to company guidelines and industry regulations
• Manage sales administration tasks including processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation of all interactions
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, explaining policy details clearly, and providing ongoing support throughout the sales process
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop outreach strategies that enhance brand awareness within diverse communities
• Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA compliance to ensure ethical and compliant sales practices

Requirements

• Valid insurance license(s) for Property & Casualty and Life insurance; must be current or willing to obtain licensing prior to employment
• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective communication abilities in both English and another language (bilingual proficiency)
• Strong analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
• Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM systems for managing client information efficiently
• Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining a high level of motivation and professionalism
• Knowledge of marketing strategies and benefits administration is a plus
