SUMMARY The Technical Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the customer, order processing, and production/manufacturing. This position requires a blend of application engineering, customer service, and strong communication skills to effectively understand and relay customer needs to the production team. The primary responsibility of the Technical Sales Coordinator is to facilitate the smooth transition of customer orders into production, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient product delivery. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to customer inquiries regarding HVAC products and services with accuracy, prompt response, and enthusiasm. Reviewing new orders for proper information to schedule job into production. Work with Outside Sales Representatives to review project accuracy between the mechanical plans, pricing, and production configuration forms, prior to an order being released to production. Work with Engineering to finalize special engineering requests and drawings prior to an order being released to production. Assist with final pricing for all projects after orders submitted via electronic pricing program and assemble and send final record submittal to customer. Enter order line-item part numbers and pricing into ERP manufacturing system. Work closely with the production team to ensure timely and accurate production of customer orders, monitor production timelines, and communicate production and ship dates between the production team and customer. Responsible for tracking and monitoring all orders as they progress through the production process. Send weekly status reports to keep customers informed of production status and expected shipping dates. Prepare customs documents for international shipment of product, as well as sales and marketing material for international company events. Complete monthly AHRI shipment reports via online reporting tool. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. 1-3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in the HVAC or related industry. Preferably, knowledge of water-source heat pumps and chilled water fan coils. Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex product specifications and manufacturing processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities. Manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office. Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
