Industrial Sales Rep - Must have Industrial Automotive Paint Experience Tasco Auto Color is your full-service Automotive Paint, Supplies, and Equipment supplier. For over 70 years Tasco Auto Color has been setting the standard for distribution of refinish coatings to the auto body repair industry. At Tasco, we believe that a trusting relationship and superior customer service, along with high quality products, are the keys to success. Tasco is looking for an enthusiastic person to build and maintain relationships with customers. The Sales Rep will be responsible for targeting new business opportunities while being responsible for managing current business to achieve sales goals. Role

Responsibilities

:

• Learn and stay abreast of company operational capabilities, materials, offerings, technology, etc.
• Communicates with appropriate vendors for information and leads
• Monitors the receipt and assignment of customer inquires in order to assist in the focusing of efforts on competitive bidding and securement strategies which enhance opportunity for success.
• Performs follow-up functions on active proposals to determine status and need for adjustments. Coordinates all needed responses
• Performs follow-up functions on lost proposals to determine cause of lost work with a goal to understand customer needs and preferences to determine how we can provide a more suitable offering next time
• Maintains flexibility to handle several projects concurrently and ensure each is progressing as required Essential Skills Required:

• Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
• Ability to get clearance to enter industrial facilities (background check, drug test, etc.)
