POSITION: Agent Development Program COMPANY: DBI Insurance LOCATION: Ketchikan, Alaska SUMMARY: The DBI Agent Development Program is a role for professionals looking to get into the commercial or personal insurance industry. DBI provides all training within a team setting. Licensed Agents provide service to a diverse range of clients while taking care of yearly insurance renewals. EXPECTATIONS AND DUTIES: - Train within a team on handling all aspects of client service - Handle day-to-day service requests within their respective team - Assist senior team members in handling insurance renewals - Prepare client documents with high attention to detail and professionalism - Organize and handle significant and sensitive client data in accordance with agency standards - Act as a liaison between insurance carriers and clients - Network with insurance carriers to build relationships and to support business development - Inspire trust in the DBI team by resolving client concerns courteously and proactively DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - 1 or more years within a professional work setting - Willing to obtain an Alaska insurance license - College degree in business or something similar is preferred but not required ABOUT DBI: At DBI, we pride ourselves on offering a wide array of insurance options from well-established, reputable carriers.
