Overview

We are seeking a high-level Quotation Specialist who can do more than build quotes-you must be able to think commercially, identify opportunites, and contribute to winning work. This role combines electrical quoting, lighting expertise, and value engineering to deliver solutions that are both competitive and profitable. You will play a direct role in whether we win or lose projects - and at what margin.

Responsibilities

• Develop Detailed Quotation Across: o Electrical distribution equipment and materials o Lighting systems, fixtures, and controls
• Interpret project documents: o Drawings o Specifications o Lighting schedules
• Identify and implement value engineering (VE) opportunities o Product substitutions o System optimizations o Cost-saving alternatives
• Source and negotiate pricing with manufacturers and vendors
• Align with sales teams on pricing strategy before releasing quotes
• Ensure all quotes are complete, accurate, and commercially based
• Support revisions and actively contribute to winning the project What Success Looks Like
• Your quotes are accurate, competitive, and consistently win work
• You improve margins through smart product selection and VE strategies
• You identify risks before they become problems
• Sales teams rely on you as a trusted partner, not just a support function

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electrical estimating, quoting, or distribution
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials and/or lighting systems
• Experience reading and interpreting construction documents
• Lighting quotation and value engineering experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
