Duties

• Greet customers and assist them in finding parts and products that meet their needs
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Help maintain merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and offering personalized recommendations
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Assist in cashiering duties, including processing returns and exchanges with precision
• Support store operations by applying retail math skills for accurate pricing and transactions

Requirements

• Basic automotive knowledge is a must.
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous
• Strong communication skills are essential for engaging customers effectively
• Ability to perform basic math calculations confidently for retail math tasks such as making change or totaling sales
• Knowledge of auto parts store operations is also be beneficial
• Excellent phone etiquette ensures professional communication at all times
