Drive new business by prospecting and selling J.B. Hunt transportation and logistics solutions to enterprise customers. Identify opportunities, onboard clients, develop account strategies and transition accounts to internal management teams for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking and sales tools to win new business
- Engage prospects, assess needs, and deliver tailored transportation solutions
- Develop sales strategies, proposals and close contracts
- Support customer onboarding and implementation with internal teams
- Ensure account success through KPI tracking, revenue quality and contract compliance
The expected starting pay range for this role is $70,500 - $88,100 a year.
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced sales environment
- Proven success in B2B sales, lead generation and high-velocity prospecting
- Strong negotiation, closing and deal execution skills
- Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management and strategic planning
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics or supply chain solutions
- Ability to collaborate across internal teams to drive implementation and customer success

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with 2-3 years of Sales, Account Management, or relevant experience, and/or military equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience being North American Truckload experience
- Willingness to travel to local customer sites with occasional overnight travel
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, and/or related field
- 2-3 years of Sales, Account Management or relevant experience, and/or military equivalent with at least 1 year of which being North American Truckload experience.
