SUMMARY: The Territory Sales Representative supports the Owner/VP to ensure growth by generating sales and building lasting client relationships. Responsible for driving sales by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The goal is to champion a culture of excellence, ensuring every sale meets our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: • Must identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling. • Create and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share. • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients within assigned territory. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. • Develop a deep understanding of company material handling and industrial equipment offerings. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor products to effectively position our solutions. • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Highlight key functions, benefits and value propositions. • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, handle objections, and close sales deals. Ensure all contractual and pricing details are accurately documented. • Oversee the sales process from initial contact through order fulfillment. Must collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. • Required to maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. • Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to Owner/VP. • Attend meetings as requested either in person or virtually. • Performs other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS • Must be able to work independently and accomplish tasks with little or no supervision; while at the same itme willing and able to communicate regularly with management about goal progress, new business opportunities and any issues and concerns. • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the material handling or industrial field. • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keep attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate effectively. • Strong customer service skills with a focus on understanding and meeting client needs. • Highly motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to sales and business development. • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices. • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics coordination is a plus. • Proficient in project management software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze data and market trends. • Dependability, thoroughness, and accuracy are a must.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in outside sales • Demonstrated success in sales, with a proven track record of growing business and meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Experience in the material handling or industrial equipment section is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Prolonged periods standing, sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Must be able to lift 30 pounds at a time. WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Full-time, off-site, Monday – Friday position. Standard hours are 8 am – 5 pm. • Travel to customer locations across the State of Florida, within territory assignments.
