The Role
We have an immediate opening available for a full-time Sales Development Representative to join the growing Princeton Identity team!
Princeton Identity is an advanced technology company redefining how organizations approach security, access control, and identity management. We partner with organizations that view identity as mission-critical infrastructure, not a commodity, and deploy our biometric identity assurance solutions into high-security, high-consequence environments like data centers, manufacturing, critical infrastructure, airports, and other regulated facilities where identity failure carries significant operational, financial, and safety risk.
Responsibilities
Lead generation is a critical function in sales and marketing. Your primary function as an SDR is to leverage and automate email, cold calling, LinkedIn, etc. to conduct outbound outreach that identifies leads and captures new prospects, while managing the whole process using CRM. Along the way, you will be increasing Princeton Identity brand awareness and driving product education, but your ultimate goal is to turn top-of-funnel prospects into qualified opportunities and work within the end-to-end sales team to build a robust sales pipeline and increase deal flow.
Specific job duties will include:
- Prospecting & Targeting: Identifying potential clients using LinkedIn, database tools, and industry research.
- Outreach & Engagement: Initiating contact via cold calls, personalized emails, and social media to generate interest.
- Lead Qualification: Evaluating prospects to determine viability using BANT - Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline.
- Pipeline Management: Utilizing CRM systems (HubSpot) to log interactions and track lead status.
- Collaboration
- Work with senior sales representatives to arrange demonstrations, presentations, and/or or calls with relevant potential clients.
- Work with marketing to develop campaigns, report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates, and develop customer stories.
- Work with products and development teams to align messaging and coordinate direction and timing for product developments
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or preferably a technology field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience with a specific focus on B-to-B
- Proficiency in CRM software, email automation tools, and sales intelligence platforms
- Analytical thinking to track and adjust your workflow on KPIs to optimize results
- Strong persuasive communication skills in both verbal and writing
- Persistence, resilience, and a relentlessly-success-driven dedication to growing Princeton Identity business
- Experience in technology, security, or access control a strong plus
