Job description
Princeton Identity has immediate opening available for our full-time Business Development Leader, accountable for achieving North American sales targets across all market segments.
We have an established and growing product portfolio that has been deployed around the world, but need your help growing its footprint in the Americas. This position requires an experienced and relentlessly-success-driven sales professional to help close numerous ongoing activities, and establish new leads, partnerships, and strategic relationships.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge and background in the physical security industry
- Experience selling advanced technology directly from manufacturer to end customer
- Demonstrated success leading professional business development
- An impressive record of shortening sales cycles and closing large deals
The ideal candidate will also exhibit strong strategic orientation and high-level persuasive communication.
Responsibilities
In this role you will be working closely with the CEO and others to sell our leading technology biometric readers. The position will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop, refine, and execute sales strategy to achieve and exceed annual budget & product sales targets
- Establish and maintain new channels to the market, and drive deal closure
- Cultivate executive relationships with key customers and partners, drive contract management
- Contribute to collaborative evolution of product definition, target markets, and product strategies
- Coordinate with product management, engineering, finance, and customer service to help define company roadmap, strategy, and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a technology field
- Minimum 15 years of relevant sales and business development experience, with a specific focus on next-generation differentiated technology products
- Demonstrated success leading a sales team and owning accountability for aggregated targets
- Proficient at prospecting and developing new business leads, managing high-level key relationships
- Skilled at negotiation and driving deal closure
- Ability to quickly learn our existing product line, value proposition, product-market fit, etc. to facilitate successful real and virtual product demonstrations
- Based in or near NJ, able to come to the HQ office at least once a week
Job Type
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday 8:30am-6:30pm, nights and weekends as required
- Requires 25%-50% travel
