The Phoenix Insurance is an Independent Property & Casualty Insurance Agency, who advises clients and works with top-rated insurance carriers to find options for complex risks. As one of the largest Specialty Insurance Agencies in the US, we are known for our integrity and keen problem-solving ability.
We are a high volume, fast-paced insurance office that is looking for a results-driven New Business Advisor. This role requires a dynamic individual to generate new business revenue by prospecting new clients, analyzing carrier options, and providing custom solutions tailored to each client’s insurance needs.
All roles at The Phoenix Insurance start in-office to support onboarding and training, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule afterward. Our hybrid approach includes a set schedule of 2 to 3 days in the office each week.
New Business Advisor Job Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored insurance solutions across multiple carriers
- Proactively identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize account value
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through active prospecting and pipeline management
- Build long-term client relationships through high-touch service, strategic follow-up, and ongoing account management
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Active Property and Casualty license required
- 2 to 3 years of proven sales success within the Property and Casualty insurance industry, ideally in an independent agency environment
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a performance-driven setting
- Highly self-motivated with a competitive, results-oriented mindset
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately review policies and ensure compliance with established processes
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex client needs
- Client-first approach with excellent communication skills and a focus on delivering value and building trust
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as Adobe Reader or Acrobat
- Adaptable and comfortable learning new web-based systems; experience with EZLynx is a plus
