Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated, results-driven Trailer Sales Representative with 25 years of sales experience to join our team. This is a commission-based role with significant earning potential for the right candidate. You will be responsible for driving sales of our enclosed cargo, flatbed/utility, and dump trailer inventory by building lasting customer relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering an outstanding buying experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

         Prospect, qualify, and close sales for enclosed cargo, flatbed/utility, and dump trailers

         Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through delivery and follow-up

         Generate leads through Facebook Ads, Facebook Marketplace, referrals, walk-in traffic, and digital inquiries such as texts and emails.

         Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

         Upsell trailer accessories, add-ons, and financing/protection packages where applicable

Customer Relationship Management

         Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and existing customers

         Conduct needs assessments to match clients with the right trailer solutions

         Provide accurate product demonstrations, specifications, and pricing information

         Follow up consistently with leads and previous customers to drive repeat business

         Maintain detailed customer records using the company CRM system (Currently Kenect)

Product Knowledge & Lot Operations

         Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of all trailer makes, models, and specifications

         Stay current on manufacturer updates, pricing changes, and competitive offerings

         Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and well-merchandised lot

Qualifications

Required

         25 years of sales experience, preferably in trailers, powersports, RVs, trucks, equipment, or related industries

         Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals in a commission-based environment

         Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

         Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and ability to work independently

         Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

         Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace

         Knowledge and Experience in marketing and selling on FB Marketplace

Preferred

         Prior experience selling vehicles, powersports, RVs or trailers.

         Existing book of business or contractor/landscaping/construction industry contacts

         Experience with trailer financing or working with lenders

         Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive commission structure with no cap on earnings.

Details

Base Pay

$38,000 + Commission.  Commissions paid weekly. Guaranteed $60,000 Total Compensation Annualized first 3 months via Commission Draws.

Commission Rate

Competitive percentage on gross profit per unit details discussed in interview

Earning Potential

Uncapped average reps earn $79,000 top reps earn $100,000+ annually

Work Environment

         Full-time, in-person position at our dealership lot

         Weekdays 9am-5pm. Saturday hours a few times a month likely for top earners

         Physical requirements may include working outdoors in varying weather conditions

         Ability to hitch, tow, and demonstrate trailers (training provided)

         Ability to move trailers around lot with tractor or truck
