Allegheny Valley Transfer, a proud agent of Allied Van Lines, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Moving Sales Representative to help grow our residential and commercial moving business. If you’re a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, cultivating new business, and closing deals, we want to hear from you!

This is a full-time opportunity offering commission-based earnings, with health insurance benefits available for full-time employees.

What You’ll Do

• Generate and cultivate new leads through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building
• Call on potential customers and follow up consistently to close sales
• Build and maintain account-based business (including COD and corporate accounts)
• Develop strong referral relationships with real estate agents and other local partners
• Conduct in-home and virtual move surveys to assess household goods
• Prepare accurate, professional estimates and proposals
• Communicate clearly and consistently with shippers throughout the entire move process
• Follow through from initial contact to closing and coordination with operations
• Maintain CRM records and manage your sales pipeline effectively

While we provide some leads, this role requires a proactive sales professional who can independently build and grow their book of business.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven sales experience (moving, logistics, transportation, or in-home sales preferred)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a hunter mentality
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
• Comfortable conducting in-home consultations and virtual appointments
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Basic computer skills and ability to prepare detailed estimates
