Salary Range
$58,000.00 - $64,000.00 Salary/year
Description
The Account Development Manager (ADM) drives B2B sales growth for ASAP services by converting leads, expanding existing accounts, and managing top house accounts. This role is responsible for growing revenue, increasing market share, and delivering exceptional client experiences. The ADM identifies opportunities, implements strategic solutions, and works closely with both Sales and Operations teams to maximize profitability.
The ideal candidate excels at pipeline management and conversions, client retention, and upselling services, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and a key driver of business growth.
This role pays 58-64K as a base and includes monthly sales commissions and quarterly bonus structure, which increases quarter over quarter. We offer a full range of benefits to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
- Drive B2B sales by converting pipeline leads into revenue opportunities.
- Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients.
- Strategically expand ASAP services into new accounts and markets.
- Develop and execute proposals, RFPs, and RFIs.
- Support market and competitive research to inform growth strategies.
Account Management & Client Retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top key house accounts and new clients.
- Serve as an industry expert, providing solutions tailored to client needs.
- Manage client contracts/renewals, reports, and presentations to ensure compliance and engagement.
- Troubleshoot escalated issues, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to resolve client concerns efficiently.
Reporting & Strategy
- Track and report sales metrics, pipeline status, and account performance.
- Identify trends, potential risks, and new product/service opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to support organizational growth and strategic initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support B2C sales team as needed.
- Represent ASAP at trade shows, conferences, and networking events (national travel 10–20%).
- Model ASAP values and contribute positively to team culture.
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a human service-related field preferred
- At least 2-4 years B2B sales required
- At least 3-4 years of account management experience required
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP), drug testing, risk management, occupational healthcare, or mental health employment experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of drug and alcohol risk management industry preferred
- Excellent computer-based, telephonic, verbal, and written communication skills
- Prospecting ability for new business
- Exceptional and demonstrable customer service business style and orientation
- Strong goal setting skills and goal achievement history
- Ability to strategize, persuade and negotiate
- Ability to multi-task clients and successfully prioritize workload
- Cognitive thinker with excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Work Environment:
This position is a remote position that performs work from the assigned home location. The job requires dedicated and uninterrupted time identical to the conditions of working in an office environment. Occasionally the remote position may report to the corporate office to attend meetings or team functions, depending on the geographical location to the corporate office. The content of information received and communicated contains confidential information, including PHI. While performing the duties of this job, it is the responsibility of this position to make all efforts to secure the clients confidentiality and always protect clients PHI information. The remote worker must abide by the Remote Work Policy.
Physical Requirements:
- Be stationary for extended hours at a time, 7-8 hours of the workday
