Position Overview


Zimmer Tractor is seeking a motivated and professional Inside Equipment Sales Representative for our Aurora location. This role is responsible for selling Kubota and New Holland construction equipment, compact and sub-compact tractors, RTVs, as well as Scag, Cub Cadet, and STIHL equipment to residential, agricultural, and commercial customers.


This is a performance-driven sales position for individuals who are confident, customer-focused, and motivated to build long-term relationships while closing transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell Kubota and New Holland construction equipment, compact and sub-compact tractors, and RTVs
  • Sell Scag, Cub Cadet, and STIHL lawn and outdoor power equipment
  • Guide customers through equipment selection, specifications, and financing options
  • Follow up on walk-in, phone, and online leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare quotes and manage the sales process from initial contact through delivery
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and structured follow-up systems
  • Photograph, price, and manage online listings of used inventory on the company website and Facebook Marketplace to drive inbound sales leads
  • Monitor and respond to online inquiries to convert digital interest into sales opportunities
  • Coordinate closely with parts and service departments to ensure smooth equipment delivery
  • Complete and stay current with required manufacturer training courses and certifications
  • Remain informed on product updates, promotions, and competitive positioning across all represented brands

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Rotational Saturday coverage required (8:00 AM 12:00 PM)
  • Saturday schedule is shared among the sales team


Qualifications

  • Prior sales experience preferred (equipment, automotive, construction, or related industry)
  • Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and close transactions
  • Self-motivated and performance-driven
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical product specifications
  • Comfortable managing online listings and responding to digital inquiries
  • Willingness to complete ongoing manufacturer training
  • Valid drivers license required
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check


Compensation

Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission. Earnings are directly tied to individual sales results, with strong income potential for motivated and results-driven professionals.
