Position Overview

The Sales Professional is responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, and delivering a high-quality buying experience from initial contact to final delivery. This role requires a self-starter with strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to thrive in a performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

• Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and welcoming manner
• Respond promptly to internet, phone, and social media leads
• Conduct needs-based consultations to match customers with the right RV, tractor, mower, or UTV
• Demonstrate product features, benefits, and value clearly and confidently
• Provide accurate pricing, financing options, and trade-in evaluations
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to close sales
• Ensure smooth handoff to Finance & Service departments

Lead Management

• Maintain accurate and timely updates in CRM
• Follow dealership sales process from first contact to delivery
• Prospect for new business through referrals, repeat customers, and community engagement

Product Knowledge

• Stay up to date on product features, incentives, and promotions
• Continuously learn about RVs, tractors, zero turns, and UTV equipment
• Attend manufacturer training as required

Professionalism & Culture

• Represent the Cliff Jones brand with integrity and professionalism
• Maintain clean, organized work area and lot presentation
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment

What Were Looking For

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven sales experience (automotive, RV, powersports, or retail sales preferred)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive
• Comfortable working weekends
• Basic computer proficiency
• Valid drivers license
• Reliable transportation
