Why This Role Matters As a Center Director, you are the CEO of your center. You lead the business, inspire your team, strengthen family relationships, and ensure operational excellence. With KinderCare's world-class curriculum, accreditation standards, and support structure, you'll focus on growing enrollment, developing talent, and delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing team of educators and leaders
  • Drive center performance through strong operational oversight and financial accountability
  • Manage budgets, monitor revenue, and use data to guide decision-making
  • Partner with families to deliver outstanding customer experiences and long-term enrollment growth
  • Build relationships with licensing agencies, community partners, and corporate stakeholders
  • Use business, sales, and marketing acumen to grow your center's presence in the community
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, health, and safety standards
What You Bring
  • At least one year of leadership experience with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams
  • Strong business judgment with experience in budgeting, financial accountability, or revenue growth
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A customer-focused mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of state licensing and accreditation standards (preferred)
