J Position Summary The Plumbing Field Supervisor is responsible for leading, managing, and optimizing field service operations to drive exceptional customer service, strong financial performance, and employee development. This role provides direct field leadership for Plumbing Service Experts and Apprentice Technicians while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and alignment with company policies, Core Values, and growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Field Leadership & Team Management * Lead, supervise, and support Plumbing Service Experts and Apprentice Technicians in daily field operations. * Foster a high-performance, accountable, and safety-focused work environment. * Coach, mentor, and develop employees to reach their full professional and technical potential. * Conduct ride-alongs, field evaluations, and performance feedback sessions. Operational Performance & Financial Results * Drive team performance to meet and exceed sales, revenue, and profitability targets. * Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, and financial outcomes. * Develop and execute tactical plans to grow revenue, service offerings, and customer retention. Customer Experience & Business Development * Ensure service excellence that consistently exceeds customer expectations. * Partner with customers to understand needs and recommend tailored plumbing solutions. * Support technicians in resolving escalated customer issues and service challenges. Scheduling & Dispatch Coordination * Collaborate with Dispatch to manage schedules, work order assignments, and workload optimization. * Verify job completion, quality standards, and proper documentation for all work orders. Compliance & Licensing * Maintain active P1 or P2 Plumbing License in good standing at all times. * Ensure all work performed complies with state and local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. * Enforce compliance with company policies, Core Values, and safety procedures. Qualifications Required * Active P1 or P2 Plumbing License (mandatory). * Minimum 5 years of plumbing field experience in residential and/or commercial service. * Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a plumbing or skilled trades environment. * Strong sales acumen with the ability to drive revenue and profitability. * Excellent communication, coaching, and customer service skills. * Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Preferred * Experience supervising service technicians and apprentices. * Familiarity with dispatching software, CRM systems, and field service performance metrics. * Strong understanding of service-based business operations and customer retention strategies.
