Marble of the World is a high end natural stone and surfaces distributor. We work heavily with the South Florida design community as well as with customers home builders and other trade professionals. With two location with in Florida and 6 out of state locations Marble of the World and its parent company the Stone Collection has become the premiere luxury distributor of natural stone and high-end surfaces. The inside sales position will be based in our state of the art Pompano showroom and distribution center. Inside Sales will be expected to assist design professionals, builders, stone fabricators, other trade professionals and homeowners. I this position you will be dealing with South Floridas leaders in luxury building and design. Though industry or design knowledge is helpful it is not required. Day to day duties will include keeping the showroom organized, attending to customers and discussing products with trade professionals, documenting work via CRM and communicating project details with coworkers. Experience with Microsoft office suit is helpful. (Word, Outlook, Excel) Responsibilities: - Help keep showroom and work areas clean and orderly - Assist customer walk-ins in their requests and needs(slab viewings, showing customers our product selection) - Ensure that all customers helped are entered into the system and database for follow up. - Learning our product line and material offerings. - Keeping material samples and literature organized and stocked. - Taking incoming phone calls - Communicate heavily with other team members and share project details.
