Full description of the position
Overview We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly motivated Director of Sales to lead our sales organization and drive revenue growth. This role is responsible for developing high-performing teams, implementing scalable sales strategies, and cultivating strong customer and partner relationships. The ideal candidate is both a visionary leader and a hands-on executor with a proven track record of exceeding targets. DOS is responsible for truck sales operations of five Upstate NY locations. Core Responsibilities: * Translate company strategy into sales execution to achieve truck sales targets * Manage sales team and increase revenue of the truck sales & leasing sales teams * Oversee the full sales cycle and ensure consistent, predictable pipeline management * Oversee pricing, inventory planning, and forecasting in coordination with the General Managers and manufacturing partners * Manage customer relationships and increase customer satisfaction * Increase market share in all locations * Develop and execute company sales and marketing plans by utilizing marketing resources * Monitor and communicate manufacturer's policies and directives, and ensure company enforcement and compliance * Learn and understand the brand, products, and competitive landscape * Manage and monitor a CRM system * Manage routine meetings and training sessions for sales team * Lead and develop the sales team by creating targets and measurable goals * Support the hiring and development of new sales team members * Oversee the complete deal process and documentation * Communicate and negotiate with the manufacturers and customers * Coordinate with marketing to create promotions, maintain the website, etc * Represent the dealership at industry events, customer visits, and OEM functions. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus. * 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including managing teams. * Commercial sales experience with B2B. * Demonstrated record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling sales operations. * Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM and sales enablement tools. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. * Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
