Full description of the position

Pay Rate: $11.13 an hour, plus tips ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, deliver orders, check back, ensure satisfaction and pre-bus tables * Operate point-of-sales system and handle cash and cash equivalents * Answer questions, provide menu suggestions and offer event and promotional information * Complete stocking and cleaning duties * Help clean tables and surrounding areas after guests leave * Provide assistance and break coverage to coworkers * Communicate with coworkers and management to ensure superior service to guests KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Required Knowledge and Certification: * 6 months Server experience; or 6 months Currents hosting experience * Previous point-of-sales systems experience * Previous cash handling experience Preferred Knowledge and Certification: * High School Diploma/GED Required Skills: * Accurate and detail-oriented * Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities * Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills * Above average math skills Required Abilities: * Ability to work fast and efficiently * Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene * Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner * Ability to enthusiastically and professionally sell and up-sell food & beverage products * Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice * Ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining a professional manner PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Must be able to walk and / or stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours * Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel * Must be able to reach and twist routinely * Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely * Must have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds routinely * Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions * Must have good eye hand coordination WORKING ENVIRONMENT * Work is performed in the restaurant but may require going onto the gaming floor which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke * Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters * Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays * Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals * High volume direct public contact Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
