Our client, Japanese Electronics manufacturing company, is seeking an account manager in the San Jose area with 5+ years of electronics or OEM sales experience. Account Manager Location: San Jose CA (Hybrid 3 days on site) Type: Full Time Direct Hire Salary: 80-120K DOE Key Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, prepare quotes, and follow up with customers. * Develop and execute sales plans to meet targets, KPIs, and company objectives. * Serve as the main point of contact for customers * Handle technical presentations, product details, and design wins. * Build strong, long-term customer partnerships through regular visits and communication. * Collaborate with engineering, technical support, manufacturing, distributors, and supply chain teams. * Track market trends and competitor activities; share insights with management. * Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and maintain internal systems. * Support international sales efforts in coordination with global teams. * Promote new products through presentations, training, and customer events. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree preferred, plus 5-10 years of component sales experience. * Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects. * Interest or background in electronics/engineering or OEM background * Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for customer visits. * Japanese language skills (spoken, reading, writing) are a plus but not required.
