As we continue to expand our fleet and footprint, we are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth within our Social Events Market across both regions. Position
Overview
The Business Development Executive - Social Markets is a revenue- generating role focused on selling Seafair's luxury yacht experiences for local and destination weddings, mitzvahs, quincea eras, birthdays, anniversaries, and private social and community gatherings. Based in Miami, Florida , this role will actively serve clients and partners throughout Southeast and Southwest Florida , working closely with internal sales, marketing, and operations teams to convert leads into exceptional on-the-water events. This is an ideal opportunity for a polished, relationship-driven sales professional with experience in events, hospitality, or luxury services , who is comfortable representing a premium brand and engaging with a diverse, multicultural client base.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Drive new business within the social events market, including weddings, milestone celebrations, and private gatherings through a variety of methods including networking and cold calling
- Qualify and manage inbound and outbound leads through the full sales cycle
- Conduct client consultations to understand vision, budget, and event goals
- Present Seafair's yachts, offerings, and value proposition in a compelling, luxury-forward manner
- Prepare and deliver customized proposals, contracts, and pricing packages
- Coordinate and conduct yacht tours, site visits, tastings, and client walkthroughs
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting within CRM systems
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to generate repeat and referral business Partnerships & Market Presence
- Develop relationships with wedding planners, event planners, hotels, fellow suppliers, and cultural organizations
- Represent Seafair at shows, industry events, networking functions, and community activations
- Collaborate with marketing on social-market campaigns, promotions, and content opportunities
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging social trends Brand Representation
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Seafair, consistently reflecting a luxury, professional image
- Ensure all client interactions align with Seafair's service standards and brand positioning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, catering sales, or venue sales.
- Proven success selling social events (weddings, private celebrations, cultural events strongly preferred)
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required) ; additional languages are a plus
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Comfortable working with high-net-worth and discerning clientele
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Pipedrive, HubSpot, Tripleseat) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, polished demeanor appropriate for a luxury brand
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required for events and client meetings What We 're Looking For
