Position: Physician Outreach Specialist Company: Medi-Weightloss of Chandler Location: Chandler, AZ Part time - Hybrid ( In the field and In the clinic) Hours - 10-12 hours a week to start with and potential to increase more depending on performance and clinic needs. Part-Time Field-Based Chandler and surrounding areas About Medi-Weightloss Chandler Medi-Weightloss Chandler is a physician-supervised weight management clinic dedicated to evidence-based care, personalized treatment plans, and long-term patient success. We are entering a strong growth phase and are seeking an experienced healthcare sales professional to build and manage our physician referral network. Position Overview We are looking for a Physician Outreach Specialist to cultivate and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and drive consistent patient referrals to our clinic. This is a part-time, field-based, performance-driven role ideal for someone who has experience calling on physician practices and thrives in a relationship-focused, measurable environment. Key Responsibilities Physician Outreach & Relationship Management * Identify and target key specialties including Primary Care, OB-GYN, Cardiology, Endocrinology, and Bariatrics. * Develop and maintain strong working relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs, practice managers, and clinical teams. * Educate providers on Medi-Weightloss' clinical model, program structure, safety standards, and patient outcomes. Practice Engagement * Conduct regular in-person office visits within Chandler and surround areas. * Coordinate and deliver brief educational presentations. * Ensure practices have updated referral materials and understand the referral process. Retention & Follow-Up * Maintain consistent communication with referring offices to support ongoing engagement. * Reinforce relationships with providers by sharing program updates and patient success outcomes (in accordance with privacy standards). * Re-engage practices that show declining referral activity. Reporting & Territory Management * Document outreach activities and referral data using a simple CRM or tracking system. * Provide weekly updates to clinic leadership on: * Offices visited * Referral patterns * New referring providers onboarded * Collaborate on adjusting outreach strategies based on performance data. Success Metrics (3 -6 Months) A successful candidate will: * Manage a panel of 10 -20 active practices. * Develop a core group of 10 consistently referring providers. * Help drive 20+ new patient referrals per month from established relationships. * Create stable, predictable referral patterns that support sustained clinic growth. Qualifications Required * 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, or physician liaison experience. * Demonstrated success calling on one or more of the following specialties: Primary Care, OB-GYN, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Bariatrics. * Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with clinical teams. * Ability to discuss medical and clinical concepts with professionalism and clarity. * Self-directed, organized, and able to manage a field-based schedule. * Comfortable in a performance-centered role with measurable expectations. Preferred * Existing network of provider relationships in Chandler / Gilbert / Tempe / Phoenix area. * Experience in weight management, metabolic health, or wellness-related services. Schedule & Work Environment * Part-time: approximately 10-12 hours a week to start with potential for more based on your performance and clinic needs * Field-based: includes in-office visits, practice meetings, and presentations. * Flexible schedule during standard clinic and practice operating hours. * Occasional early morning, evening, or community events as needed. Compensation * Competitive part-time base compensation starting at $20 per hour. * Performance-based incentives tied to: * Referral volume * New referring providers * Overall growth of the referral network * Total compensation offers strong upside potential for candidates who excel in relationship-driven outreach.
