If you are a LICENSED Property & Casualty Commercial Lines Insurance Agent who is attentive to multiple clients while processing submissions for new clients... Other prerequisite skills and qualifications include: * Excellent customer service skills * Thorough and keen attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to sell products and services to a wide variety of clients * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to remain calm under pressure a multitasker * Ability to use the software utilized within the company Salary is based on a slightly higher average working week, usually between 40 and 45 hours with the possibility of working weekends and bank holidays. * Speaking to & emailing potential clients or Brokers to gather information and negotiate terms * Utilizing actuarial data and specialized software to determine the risk associated with an application * Liaising with underwriters for more accurate risk assessments * Building good working relationships with Brokers and other insurers * Determining the wording and premiums of new policies and renewals * Deciding whether to consult other insurers * Maintaining detailed and accurate records of underwritten policies with in agency management program for accurate record keeping * Adhering to compliance and regulatory procedures This Agent, or Insurance Account Manager, rates, binds and manages insurance policies on behalf of our agency.
