Village Homes is seeking a Junior Home Sales Consultant to take under our wing. With close mentoring and guidance, you will help us create a first class home buying experience while assisting our customers throughout the purchase process. A typical schedule includes one weekday off and Sundays off. We are open Saturdays 9am-4pm (3pm winter months). Saturdays are a busy day for us with families coming in to plan their new home. Applicants are strongly encouraged to call the hiring manager, Jason, at 802-[please apply online] Qualifications: * Excellent communication skills a must. * 3+ years sales experience preferred. * Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Excel programs very helpful. * Social media experience helpful. * Good administrative skills, organizational skills and basic math skills a must. * We have FUN at our job so a good sense of humor is very important :). * Willing to mentor and train the right individual. Responsibilities: * Shadow, assist and learn from your sales team throughout the day. * Study, learn and become an expert in our home products. * Answer incoming calls and greet walk in visitors. * Respond to incoming web and social media inquiries. * Follow up and set appointments with customers. * Sit in and assist with sales presentations and contract meetings. * Create sales materials. * Process paperwork related to customer files. * Model home staging and general lot upkeep as needed. * Assist the sales manager with various task as needed. * Learn new technology, programs and processes as needed. * Have fun!
