Position Summary: The Sales Representative is responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience while supporting sales operations through accurate data entry and order management. This role builds relationships with current customers and concentrates on essential customer outreach activities. The Sales Representative works cross functionally across the organization to provide customers with industry leading customer experience. Supervisory Responsibilities: The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: * Accountable for growing sales within assigned customer base/book of business. * Communicate and interact daily with customers. * Perform data entry of customer orders. * Provide product selection with the customer's input. * Perform customer outreach. * Record customer interactions. * Record customer issues and discrepancies. * Work with customers to solve order issues as they arise. * Participate in seminars and other training as required. * Assist in the establishment and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures. * May attend industry events (Company Events, Trade Shows, and Motorsports Events) as a strong brand representative. * Work in team environment. * Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, training, and regulations. * Ensure established policies and procedures are followed. * Participate in continuous improvement project team activities. * Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience/Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED, required. * Extensive knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry. * Significant and detailed product knowledge of performance aftermarket automotive parts, required. * Significant hands-on experience working on automotive/mechanical projects, required. * Experience with SxE and IRMS, preferred. Skills & Abilities: * Ability to develop and foster business relationships. * Ability to communicate effectively (clear and concise) through writing, speaking, active listening, and presentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must be Sales growth motivated to increase sales and maintain established margins. * Must be motivated to exceed expectations for excellent customer satisfaction. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related equipment and software. * Ability to approach conflicts with vendors, customers, and colleagues in a constructive manner. * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data. * Strong quantitative and analytical skills. * Excellent organization skills and detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent time management. * Ability to work both independently, within a team, and cross-functionally with other departments/stakeholders. * Ability to work with minimum supervision/guidance and must be self-directed. * Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment. * Willing to participate in Company designated training. * Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the company handbook. * Must be able to maintain confidentiality. * Must be able to practice safe work habits. Physical Demands: The employee is frequently required to reach with arms and hands, stand, twist, bend, walk and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
