Overview I am looking for a candidate with at least a year of med device experience, preferably spine and preferably a former college athlete. This position is working for a distributor for a top bone stimulation device company. You would cover the Grand Rapids area. Someone who is working long hours in the OR that wants to get out of the OR to have a better work-life balance would be a great fit. The salary plus commission will be $70K-$96K first year, depending on what experience you bring to the table. There is $100K-plus potential in Grand Rapids after a few years. You are on your own for health insurance, but they do give a gas allowance and approved expenditures. They want someone who is confident, excited about the role and has high character, as they want you to be a great fit with them and their culture. They actually prefer honesty over a great salesman, meaning they don't want a car salesman who produces, they want someone who will be successful because of the relationships they build. They value their reputation that they've worked very hard to build. No shortcuts. They want someone who is responsive, adaptable, flexible, very driven, high drive with a motor and that appreciates a great culture. They want someone from Grand Rapids, or that currently lives in the area, or has very strong ties to the area.
